Hi Jeff,
When we were using Fireboard, the board was getting spammed to death by bots.
With the new captcha system, we've 100% eliminated any spam posts...which is great. Sorry for the annoyance but it's aimed at making the forum posts better quality by keeping out the penis enlargement pills and whatnot. |

i run a slightly more busy forum than this , i use no captcha for posts, just for registration and have zero spam and tbh , this is the only board i can think of where registered users have to enter captcha
wouldnt be so bad if the captcha was easier to read |

Yeah, maybe you're right JeffK...we would be better served with a captcha on the registration as opposed to putting it on every new forum post. Will look into this and let you know...I agree with you, it's a bit annoying |

Captchas for posting to the forum have been disabled. Captchas have been placed on the perimeter though, so registrations and logins (component page) will require captcha security check. |

Still have a captcha on the forums for me. logged out and back in. BTW, the login at the top needs to go away since you require a captcha to login to the site. |
