was thinking the exact same thing , loads of spam emails telling me what a wonderful product it is and when the new release is coming out

without the fix for multiple options , the product can not be actually called the best shop for joomla , but a WIP

my client has lost all confidence in the jhshop and is now pressing to find a solution that actually does what he requires , which is a shame as jhshop HAD great potential

Hi guys....TERRIBLY sorry that we didn't make our own onerous deadline. We've been working RELENTLESSLY here trying to have the latest version of JHShop ready in time.

Fortunately/unfortunately, Craig found a pretty nasty bug in one of the new features we're implementing and decided to squash that before releasing it as releasing it as it was would've been utterly irresponsible.

We've got a rather exciting feature which will be added into the new version in a basic format as we wanted some community input before developing it any further.

Personally, I've been stalling this update because I was hoping to release the software as the clock struck ten minutes to midnight in some remote Western corner of the world so that we could technically still have been on 16 August 2010

. We have to be realistic about things and state that the release date has been pushed back a few days to Friday although most likely Monday (23 August 2010).

We're really sorry about the change in schedule but it was for a VERY good reason.

Things to look forward to with the new release are:

1) Revised pricing with significant discounts for once-off 12 month support plans.
2) Compare products feature and product importer.
3) Virtuemart-to-JHShop migration tool.
4) ALL bugs fixed (even the ones we picked up in development).

I share your abject disappointment and I will keep you updated as we go.
