JHShop As may have noticed, JHShop 1.4.3 came, and disappeared all in one day. The reason for this was simple. There were some show-stopper bugs that had to be fixed. We don't want to travel down the same path as some other carts and have a really buggy release go out and then have the forums overflowing with bug and help requests.

With the help of Eric from http://www.Web-Jive.com, we did some deeper testing to locate some additional bugs and errors, which BTW, would have driven you all mad. During this testing/QA, some nasty bugs were discovered and we (JHShop), decided to unpublish the release in order to fix these bugs and release 1.4.3.3, today...

We're also moving away from the RCX names to help with versioning and add some clarity to these revisions.

Some great news -- our licensing terms have moved to a new subscription model; just like other popular Joomla! products (i.e. JomSocial and others)!

JHShop has always been under the GNU/GPL license but, the prior licensing fee was based on a "Per Site" fee. For the one-off sites, this model worked great but, for larger organisations wanting to deploy JHShop in larger numbers; a "Per Site" licensing model posed a challenge in keeping up with license counts and purchases.

You may be asking, what does this mean to those who have purchased copies already?

Nothing much except that you will receive a "Free" 2 month premium subscription which gives you access to support, and all upgrades during your subscription period. With this new subscription model, you can now deploy JHShop on any number of domains during, and after your subscription expires.

If your subscription has expired you will need to renew your subscription in order to access upgrades and support thereafter. There are also no call-backs or checks in the code, so your stores will continue to run long after your subscription has expired!
