In this section we will go over the different areas of the administration area:
The dashboard shows your current statistics: Sales Products Customers Reviews
along with a graph showing signups vs sales for a set period (today,this week, this month, this year) and the last 10 orders recieved.
The catalog menu is divided into the following sections
1) Categories
Here you can get a list of the categories aswell as add / edit a category
The add / edit screen has the following fields: (per language installed)
* Category name - Displays frontend
* Metatag Description - For Search engines, Added to your description meta tag
* Description - displays on the top of the category page frontend
* SEO Keyword - This is used with the URL Rewriting, so you can have a url like www.site.ext/shop/mycategory
* Image (using filemanager to prevent overwriting)
* Sort order - the order the categories display frontend.
2) Products
Here you can list your products, aswell as filter by name, model, category, status, stock
The add / edit screen is divided into tabs, they are as follows
- General
- This handles the language specific areas
- Product Name
- Meta Tag Description
- Tags - These are displayed in teh Tag Cloud Module aswell as on the product and are inserted as keywords in the keyword meta tag
- Description - Html product description
- Data
- Model
- Location
- SKU
- SEO Keyword - used for teh URL Rewriting
- Image
- Manufacturer
- Vendor
- Required shipping true / false
- Featured product true / false
- Date Available
- Stock level
- Out of stock status
- Status

- Price
- Dimensions - can be set in different units
- Weight - can be set in different units
- Assign to Category(s)
- Assign Download(s)

- Options
- Here you can set different product attributes for your product, each with / without stock control and pricing adjustments
- Discount
- Here you can set different discounts based on customer group and quantity ordered along with a start and end date
- Special
- Here you can set a Special per customer group along with starting and ending dates
- Image
- Here you can load additional images for your product
3) Manufacturers
Here you can manage your manfucturers, each manufacturer can be assigned a name, SEO Keyword and image
4) Vendors
Here you can manage your vendors, each vendor can be assigned a name, SEO Keyword and image
5) Downloads
Here you manage your downloads, this section allows you to update existing downloads for your products without having to reset the products or orders as each update automatically updates the products and orders attached to the download
6) Reviews
Here you can manage and approve reviews placed on products in your store.
7) Information
Here you can add information pages, (terms and conditions is linked in here) along with SEO Keywords for the URL rewriting

- This section handles the settings for the modules as displayed with the mod_jhshop module
- Shipping
- Here you install and configure your shipping modules
- Payments
- Here you install and configure your payment modules
- Order Total
- Here you install and configure your Order Total Modules (incl. coupons)
- Product Feeds
- Here you can install and get the links for Google Base, Google Sitemap and Jump Feeds
The Sales menu is divided into the following sections:

- This section allows you to view and manage your orders, changing order status etc.
- Customers
- Here you can list and edit existing customers, changing their customer group etc.
- Customer Groups
- Here you can create and manage customer groups
- Coupons
- Here you can Add / edit Coupons, coupons can be set as
- Persentage or fixed ammouunt
- Guest / registered
- Assign free shipping
- Lock to sertain products
- start / end dates
- uses per coupon / customer
- Mail
- Here you can send mail to selected customers.

The System Section handles the global store options

- Here you set your store name, description and homepage content aswell as select which store template to use.

- Here you set mail / customer /download preferences aswell as switch guest checkout system on/off

- Here you set your image parameters, sizes per area of image display

- Here you configure your mail system

- Here you can switch SEF Urls on/off, SSL on/off aswell as set the encryption key for storage of PCI Data.
