Off-line Credit Card

Off-line Credit Card Payment Module will allow you to collect the credit card information from your customer to process later, the data is encrypted and stored.

Available from version  1.5.1 onwards.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Please take note of the following as we(JHshop Staff/Management/Developers/Owners) cannot be held responsibility for any legal misuse or mishandling of sensitive information.

• When you set a key to encrypt data. That means that key must remain the same in order for that order to be decrypted
• If you forget your encryption key, the card number will be forever encrypted.
• It also may be illegal in some countries to store certain bits of information in a database, or transmit via email, even though the option to do so might exist

The module has the following functionality:

• Data can be mailed to the store owner (Not Recommended as insecure)
• Admin can choose which credit card types to accept
• Card numbers are encrypted with a custom hash before storing to the Database
• Verification algorithms to verify credit card data for Visa, Master card, Amex, Discover and Diners Club.

NB: Please make sure you follow the laws regarding the storage and/or emailing of Credit Card data as it stands in your country.
