Howto: overwrite language files PDF Print E-mail

Starting from version 1.5.1.43 you will be able to override language files on a per text item basis, these overrides will stay in place even when upgrading your installation!

This is done in the following steps:

  1. access your Joomla images folder and open the shop sub-folder
  2. create a folder with the language name you are currently using (ie english)
  3. copy the file from the components/com_jhshop/language/english/ folder (keeping folder structure) to this folder
  4. open and edit the file.
  5. Save and your language overrides are now in place.

Please Note that this functionality is only available from version 1.5.1.43 and higher!
