The installation of the JHShop component is done as follows:

1) upload the com_jhshop.zip file using the joomla installer

2) Upload the mod_jhshop.zip file using the joomla installer.

You can now upload any additional plugins / modules that you wish to use.

Upgrading is as simple as uploading the newer version up over the old one using the Joomla Installer

You are now installed. you will find the JHShop link in the components menu in the admin section.

The first thing you should do after any install / upgrade is to access the settings option and update your settings, there are occasionaly new features added in that require some configuration.
